Indiana University has contributed 6 university collections and approximately 6.5 linear feet of archival material, representing a broad group of student constituencies. The materials include university publications, organizational files, program materials, and subject files. Two of the collections come from student support centers, including the Indiana University Latino Cultural Center (1973-2003), and the Indiana University Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Student Support Services Office (1989-2004). Of note are the organizational files of the Indiana University Association of Women Students, going back to 1921. Additionally, the 1960’s student protest era is represented by a two collections, including a newsletter collection from Indiana University Students for a Democratic Society, as well as publicity materials from the Eggshell Press, named after a mimeograph machine that produced most of the flyers for demonstrations, rallies, vigils, and marches on IU’s Bloomington campus between 1967 and 1968.
