Savannah Jacobs

Savannah Jacobs is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Savannah currently works at the Center for Indian Education as an Assistant Researcher and Office Administrative Aide. She is earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science at Arizona State University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, minor in Justice Studies and Certificate in American Indian Nation Governance. Savannah plans to work for the tribal government, to create beneficial resources that Indigenous communities or students need. For example; demonstrating proper tribal nation building, assist with land management or creating grant programs for Indigenous Students.
