The City Colleges of Chicago joined Project Stand as the first participants representing community colleges, also serving as co-hosts for the Project Stand Chicago symposium in September 2019. The Kennedy-King College Collection of Student Dissent, arranged by event, contains materials created by the students and faculty of Kennedy King College during times of significant student dissent in racially charged Chicago in the late 1960’s.
