Howard University’s CASCADE is one of the oldest LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations on an HBCU campus. CASCADE works to set the tone on a national level for how Black queer people should be treated. The CASCADE Digital Archive is a compilation of about 30 online sources (articles, videos, etc.). that pertain to the history of LGBT+ student activism on Howard’s campus. The sources range from 1980 to the present day.
